Mooncoin are celebrating today after winning their first Kilkenny Minor A Hurling title since 1979 at Nowlan Park yesterday against Dicksboro.
It also goes down as the first ever Minor A Championship won in Kilkenny at under 17 level.
Mooncoin mentor Pat Hogan says that the win is a big boost to the club at all levels.
Speaking to KCLR, Pat says that they are a great group of players to coach.
