Muay thai Prodigy Chloe Black is set to compete in the IFMA world championship in Turkey this September.

No stranger to the competition as Chloe picked up silver at International Olympic Recognised event last year. Fighting from Carlow Muay Thai, the club and Chloe were honored and delighted that Chloe has been selected to compete in the u12/13 category representing her country.

Speaking to Sunday Scoreline father Eric Black spoke about the different events they have planned to assist Chloe in getting to Turkey.

“We have a go fund me page set up, we will be street collecting around Bagenalstown, organising a gym sleepover and Chloe herself will take a training class herself”.

Chloe spoke with KCLR and outlined the training regime required , as she is determined to win gold for Ireland in the future.

” I train 5 nights a week, and I go for a 5k run everyday. At the minute my goal is the Olympics and to win gold….I dont plan to give up”.
