A popular choice on the public vote, the Muckalee Ladies Gaelic football team were named as winners of the David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star award for the month of September.
In the weeks since, the team secured a second consecutive county football title on the opening weekend of October, following that up with qualificatoion for and progression through the Leinster football championships.
