Muinebheag Camogie manager Mick Lillis has been telling Scoreline that his side are rearing to go for this weekend’s Leinster Camogie Junior A club quarter-final.
It’s the first time ever that the Bagenalstown side will be involved in the Leinster competition when they travel to Leixlip to face Kilcock on Sunday.
With a big squad to choose from, Lillis says it’s all about form when it comes to the starting fifteen this weekend.
“There is massive competition for places, we’ve 32 girls on the squad which is great, it’s good and healthy,” said Mick.
“They’ll all give 100% to training, they bring the intensity to every training, especially over the Christmas, especially now that they know they’ve competition with the Leinster quarter-final on Sunday”.
“They’re all mad to get a starting place, I don’t think we went out this year yet with the same starting 15, it’s all on form, some girls might be lucky enough to hit form at the right time, other girls the form might dip.”
