Mullinavat Senior Football Manager Michael Aylward says they are hopeful of causing an upset in today’s (Saturday) Leinster Intermediate Championship Quarter-Final clash against the Dublin Intermediate Champions Ballyboughal.
Speaking to KCLR, Michael says they have trained as hard as they have possibly can for today’s contest.
He said “Ah preparations have gone well. Hurling finished unfortunately a little bit too earlier to try and get the lads back in”.
“We got a good of good training sessions in so weather conditions are not ideal but you have to do what you can and they came in and trained and trained hard so we have to congratulate the lads on that. If we are playing hurling Kilkenny Teams would be expecting to win it, with football we are not expecting so hopefully we can cause an upset”.
