Patrick Mullins says that Douvan and Vroom Vroom Mag have been built up gently ahead of their possible returns to action this weekend.
Douvan is entered for Saturday’s Red Mills Chase in Gowran Park and speaking ahead of this weekends Racing, Patrick says they would be need to be on top form.
“Vroom Vroom Mag got a little injury in Punchestown last year and obviously we had a bit of a scare with Douvan. We have been taking it day by day with both horses.
“We have been building them up gently and we have got to the stage now where they can be entered. They have to work later in the week, and do you see it’s our local track which makes it an option so we will see how they work later in the week but so far so good with both of them.
“We are just crossing our fingers and toes that they will stay that way. We have done it with Quevega, so it can be done and obviously See You Then used to it but they have to be in the top of their form to do that so we will only know nearer the time,” he said.
