Kilkenny Minor manager Richie Mulrooney says there is room for improvement despite the impressive win in their Leinster Championship opener in Dublin last Sunday.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of their home game against Wexford on Saturday, Richie says the games in the Round Robin phase of the Championship are a learning curve for the squad.
“Yeah, it was a good win, put up a good score of 3-23 and at the same time, talking to the group, talking to all the lads, they themselves know that they are areas that we have to improve on.
“We will try to improve over the next number of weeks before the Championship starts in June, and I am sure after we play Wexford on Saturday, whether we win or lose, again there will be areas of concern for the players and ourselves, but we will approach these League matches to give us the chance to get ready for the Championship,” he said.
Kilkenny play Wexford at 2pm Saturday in Nowlan Park.
