The 2022/23 junior soccer season in Kilkenny begins on Sunday with seven games taking place in the Pat Maher Shield Shield.
The cup competition has been the annual curtain raiser for a number of years as teams are given the opportunity to go an an early season cup run while also getting some competitive games.
The second round of fixtures takes place on Wednesday before the league campaign starts on Sunday, August 28th with the Premier Division and Division 1 commencing before Division 2 and Division 3 kicks off later in September.
