The countdown is on to Saturday’s Leinster club junior hurling championship final.
2021’s decider is being held at UPMC Nowlan Park with Kilkenny champions Mooncoin looking to add a Leinster title to their honours list when they take on Shamrocks of Offaly.
Manager Willie Coogan has been telling KCLR that there’s no pressure on his side going into the game, regardless of what’s at stake.
“The boys are after preparing for a county final already, so that was the one that really carried a lot of weight on their backs,” said Willie.
“The U18’s having won their championship as well, there’s not probably as much weight going into this one, so it’s more an opportunity rather than the weight of expectation on them”.
“They’re looking forward to it, I don’t think any nerves will come into it in terms of what the future may hold if we do go ahead and win it or anything”.
Tickets for that game are available now via Universe.com and must be bought in advance of arrival on Saturday.
