St. Mullins hurler Jack Kavanagh says there is no talk of three-in-a-row in their camp.
The Saints get their Championship underway against Mt. Leinster Rangers on Saturday night, and speaking to KCLR, Jack says they are only taking it one step at a time…..
“Yeah, that’s the talk about it from everyone around the county bar ourselves. Won it last two years, but the two years previous are gone. This is a new year, new challenges that lay ahead. I’m looking forward to the year ahead, there is no talk of three-in-a-row. We are focused on Rangers in the first round of Championship and we take it one step at a time.
While speaking about Mt. Leinster Rangers looking for revenge after the final last year. Jack said…..
” Yeah of course. We played Rangers in the first round last year and we had a cracker here, they beat us by 4 points. No matter who we get first you had to play, you might as well get the big guns out of the way first, or so called big guns. We know every team is going to produce their own challenges. They might be looking for revenge after the final last year but know we always have humdingers so it serves up to be a cracker”
