It was a frantic end to the Carlow Kildare match, as Tom Mullally’s men came away with that draw at the death.
It was the third game in which The Barrowsiders finished the game with 14 men, and it looked like it would be their undoing until Chris Nolan leveled the game in the fifth minute of two minutes of added time
Now Chris Nolan himself caught up with Scoreline after the game, and despite surviving the relegation scare, he was admittingly disappointed with the way the game turned out despite being the man to grab the last point;
“When you are in that moment you do not really think about it. I am not the best at line balls. I could hit another hundred and I would not hit another over.
“We got a draw out of it, but to be honest we are disappointed. We are very disappointed, we were six points up at one stage, so we are just disappointed we did not come away with the win.”
Great seeing some footage of @Chrisnolan37 last gasp point to salvage a draw for @Carlow_GAA

It’s now a case of permutations galore for Carlow’s senior hurlers now that the dust has settled on that drawn game against Kildare in Division 2A .
A win for Carlow in their final game against Meath, with results going their way elsewhere, could seal a league semi-final. Meanwhile, defeat could spell straight relegation to Division 2B.
Paying tribute to some of the new faces in the Carlow squad this season, match-saver Chris Nolan says they’ll hopefully have more bodies to call on Sunday week.
“In the last three games, we did fierce well. John Doyle, any ball that went in there, he made it stick, we got scores off him.”
“Conor Keogh & Fiachcra Fitzpatrick, they were brilliant, for the whole three games, you could not fault them on anything.”
“The new lads have all adapted fierce well. Scott Treacy and Fiach O’Toole, they did not get on against Kildare but they are driving everyone on in training, Mouse (Marty Kavanagh) is back aswell.”
“We get more lads hopefully back for two weeks’ time against Meath.”
