It’s that time of the month.
The nominations are open for the May round of the David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Awards.
Last month saw Kilkenny Rugby Club claim the first team nomination and win of the year following on from Billy Coogan (athletics, March) and Emer Kelly (rugby, February).
This month, the nominations are again open to all walks of sport in Kilkenny, both on and off the field, whether team or individual. Nominations, which will join those from the KCLR sports team, close at 6pm this Friday and given the bank holiday, the winner will be announced at lunchtime on Tuesday 7 June.
