Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson admits that nothing less than a “one-hundred-per-cent” performance will do in the Champions League tonight.
The Reds take on RB Leipzig in Budapest in the first leg of their last-sixteen tie just three days after manager Jurgen Klopp conceded the Premier League title.
Liverpool has lost their last three matches in the English top-flight.
Henderson feels the European tie gives them a chance to put their domestic problems behind them.
“I think its a new opportunity, it’s another challenge, another game, that’s what a new game brings” said Henderson.
“We got to go out there against a very good side and we got to be at 100% to even get anything from the game”.
“We know its a big opportunity for us and we’re 100% ready to go and absolutely give everything in that 90 minutes to try and get a good result” he added
That game kicks off at 8 o’clock.
At the same time Barcelona entertain Paris Saint Germain.
