Carlow Senior Hurling Manager Colm Bonnar says that Offaly will still be formidable opponents on Sunday enduring one of the worst run of results in the Counties history.

Speaking to KCLR, Colm says that Hurling is still very strong within the County.

He said “Offaly are already facing the relegation final and not 100% sure who they are playing yet, but there is still a lot of Hurling in Offaly”

“I have seen their clubs play Carlow clubs and they are very very competitive, and even my time at Ballyhale we were very lucky to win a Leinster Final against Kilcormac-Cilloughey, and beat them by a point in extra-time so Offaly club hurling seems to be good”

Colm said “They have some strong teams there so every game is different and it will be know different on Sunday, every game, Offaly will be going to win it and we will be going to win it”.
