The Irish Life Health National League Final capped a busy weekend of athletics action in Tullamore.

It finished up with Kildare County women and Clonliffe Harriers men coming out as overall premier league winners.

Clonliffe Harriers are the men’s champions thanks to a dominant display across the course of the day which included a sprint double from Olympian, Marcus Lawler who took full points in the men’s 100- and 200-meter races.

The Carlow man won the 100m in a time of 10.75 before winning the 200m in 21.24.

Marcus is only home from the Olympics in Japan where he ran in the 200m.
