Parkville United manager Podge Rooney says they had no complaints about playing a busy fixture list over the Christmas/New Year period.

Parkville United play Forth Celtic in the Leinster Cup on Sunday, and speaking to KCLR, Podge says they had a good turnout for training and matches in difficult circumstances…..

“Yeah, there was a lot of lads unhappy, but it is what it is, if your behind on games, you have to make up the time so it’s a difficult time for everyone, there is a lot things to be doing over that period, it’s hard to get them in every night that we are training but look we have seen it worse in previous years so this year wasn’t bad at all”
