It’s that time of the month again.

The David Buggy Motors Kilkenny Sport Star Award for the month of November was decided by way of public nominations and votes over the past week with the winner revealed at lunchtime on Monday as Kilkenny City Harriers’ Peter Lynch.

Currently studying for a masters’ in the US, Lynch returned home in November to compete in his first All-Ireland cross-country championships in Donegal, running to third place overall in his category.

Acknowledged by his club and teammates for his efforts in the run into November and the All-Irelands, that finish last late month ultimately earned Lynch a place on the Irish team for the European Cross Country Championships in Italy. Those took place this past weekend, with Lynch continuing his strong form, finishing best of the Irish in 15th overall in the men’s senior category, helping Irish to an 8th place finish.

On behalf of all at KCLR and David Buggy Motors, congratulations to Peter Lynch and continued success into the 2023 season.
