On Sunday 16 October 2016, St. Mullins claimed their third straight Carlow Senior Hurling Championships title with a comprehensive 2-13 to 0-16 win over Mount Leinster Rangers.
In a game that also saw four red cards (three for MLR and one for St. Mullins), along with a disallowed goal, it was the goals in either half from Marty Kavanagh and Seamus Murphy that ultimately earned PJ Delaney’s men another county crown.
Miss the game? We’ll have commentary available on the Fanzone shortly. In the meantime, here’s some photo highlights from the 2016 Carlow Senior Hurling Championship final.
