Piltown trainer Joseph O’Brien trained Cerberus and Wave of the Sea are two of the most promising juvenile hurdlers in training at the moment.
Cerberus got the better of his rival at Fairyhouse recently and they are set to meet again in the Grade 2 Knight Frank Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown on St Stephen’s Day.
O’Brien said there won’t be much between them again, “Both ran very well, little bit of a turn around in the weights now in Leopardstown this time so it might put them closer together, but they’re two high class juveniles and we are excited about them”.
“Cerberus has come out on top once and Wave of the Sea beat Cerberus previously so there shouldn’t be much between them again”.
