Peamount united’s Karen Duggan is in line as a potential winner of the Women’s National League’s Player of the year.
The Dublin side defeated Shelbourne to be crowned the womans national league champions once again in a very stop start year.
Karen scored a goal in the game to help secure her sides second consecutive Woman’s National League title.
The Piltown native has had some great performances this season but says the whole team have put in a huge effort:
She told KCLR “It’s fantastic, we’ve had about three pre-seasons so to finally get over the line in the new format of the league and the way and the manner we did it against Shels in our home patch with everything on the line, coming down to that game, it was an incredible feeling when that final whistle went”.
