Gowran Park Racing General Manager Eddie Scally says they have plenty lined-up for the annual Kilkenny GAA Race Day which takes place next Monday.
Eddie told KCLR what will be happening on the day.
He said “We are really throwing the kitchen sink at it this year. All the hurlers are coming out to support the day themselves and we are honoring all the previous Minor (All-Ireland) captains so you will have people like Brian Cody as well that captained Kilkenny to a Minor title many years ago, we are bringing all them guys out as well, so there will be any amount of hurling royalty in the place on the day, but then on top of that we have all the Family Fun stuff for the kids so it should be a cracking day and a lovely way to spend a Bank Holiday Monday”.
