Now, will momentum carry is the question, especially considering last weekend’s postponements? Southampton needs to bounce back after their loss to Wolves last time out, but with Villa only winning one game in their last ten, they may not have much to fear. Wolves have only conceded four times in six games, but Man City have scored 20 fo far, and with an inform Erling Haaland, you can expect that to change. Newcastle take on Bournemouth at home, with Eddie Howe really needing to kick the Magpies season into gear, seven points from the opening six games is not good enough for the lofty ambitions his owners have. Antonio Conte will hope to compound Brendan Rodgers misery when Spurs take on bottom placed Leicester. You have to have some sense of sorrow for how Leicesters season is turning out, losing star players every year since their famous league win, is not a recipe set for success.
