Due to fly out to Germany this week to begin final preparations for his PFL debut, Kilkenny pro fighter Myles Price has a new-look poster for his meeting with Anthony ‘Showtime’ Pettis next month.

Price (11-7) jets to Texas at the end of this month to take on the former UFC lightweight champion in another huge night for the Irish mixed martial arts community.

While Price hasn’t been seen inside the cage since his decision victory over Peter Queally at Bellator 217 in February 2019, Pettis (24-12) has won three of seven in the same time frame.

He closed out his UFC career with back-to-back wins in 2020 over Donald Cerrone and Alex Morono.

Just days after officially leaving his UFC contract behind, Pettis was announced for the 2021 PFL lightweight series but lost both scheduled fights, first to Clay Collard in April of last year, then to Raush Manfio last June, Manfio eventually closing out the series as lightweight champion and picking up a million dollars for his troubles.

On a card headlined by Kayla Harrison and also set to feature Rory McDonald’s PFL return, Pettis v Price goes down on PFL 3, Friday 6 May at the Esports Stadium Arlington, TX. This will be the third regular-season event of the 2022 tournament scheduled and includes a mixed card of Women’s lightweight, lightweight and welterweight bouts.

You can see the full card here.

In the mean time, check out the poster below.
