Former Leinster and Ireland out-half Mick Quinn says it would be dangerous to underestimate the French in Saturday’s clash.
Speaking to KCLR, Mick says that it’s not going to be won easily and agrees with Joe Schmidt’s notion that it should be a bruiser.
“Everybody is saying well they should win, and they should do this and they should do that. I think it’s going to be a very hard game, it will be very physical, and it depends on what way France play this game.
“If you don’t start well against the French you can end up in serious trouble. I spoke to Joe (Schmidt) over the weekend, he was very adamant that it was going to be an extremely physical game next Saturday.
“It won’t be won easily, and it certainly won’t necessarily be pretty either, that’s the point Joe was making so he is obviously expecting a real bruiser here,” he said.
