Leinster prop Ed Byrne says getting to the Rainbow Cup final is out of their hands now.

The Carlow man is in the side for Friday’s game against the Glasgow Warriors away in Scotstoun Stadium.

He told the Knock On rugby podcast on scoreline.ie that Treviso is in control at the top of the table.

“Treviso is probably the ones who have it in their favour at the minute, they’re top of the pool, and have to go away to Ospreys (Sat June 12th)” said Ed.

“A lot will count on that and then Munster are nipping at their heels a bit and if we go well against Glasgow this weekend then it opens it up but it does come down to Treviso, if they win that one, then they go through and play the South African team” he added.
