Rathvilly aim to avoid a tricky Championship Quarter Final clash

Rathvilly Joint Football Manager Sean Kavanagh says Sunday evening’s top of the clash against Eire Og is very important to avoid what would almost certainly be a tricky Quarter-Final.

Speaking to KCLR, Sean says they are among the pursuing pack that are aiming to get to Palatine’s level.

“Yeah on current form, on the last couple of years form, obviously Pal are favorites and after that then, I suppose we are all striving to get to where they are, that’s all the target for all the rest of the clubs.

“Our aim would have been to go straight through obviously which a very tricky quarter-final whichever of those teams end up in it.

“There is nothing easy there so we will be hoping to go top the group and go straight to a Semi-Final which would be the aim anyway,” he said.
