Cork Senior Camogie manager Paudie Murray doesn’t think Kilkenny will be on a mission to gain revenge for losing out by a point in last years Camogie All-Ireland Final.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s National League Final, Paudie says there has been massive respect built up between both counties.
“I don’t think Kilkenny will go down that route (revenge)”, says Murray.
“They will go to beat us, have no doubt about it. I think there has been massive respect built up over the last number years between both teams, so I think Kilkenny will respect us and we will respect them”
“I don’t think anyone of us would like to be beaten on Sunday either. I don’t know about the game of hurling, will it be as fluent as it what it would be in two or three months time, I don’t think it will because I just don’t think that they have the preparation done.”
Kilkenny v Cork is live in Nowlan Park this Sunday with Michael O’Leary and Sinead Millea on commentary duty for a 1.30pm throw-in. Ticket details available here.
