Leading Racing owner Rich Ricci says that Willie Mullins will always be successful as long as he has the material required.
Speaking to KCLR on the final day of the Punchestown Festival after securing three Grade 1s at last weeks festival, Richi says the split with Gigginstown last season had no impact at all.
“Yeah, I mean they are brilliant as well (Mullins’).
“They do so much for Irish Racing, it’s extraordinary and they deserve a lot of credit and congratulations to them for been leading owners.
“With Willie, as long as he has got the material, it doesn’t matter who the owner is, it’s incredible and fair play to him, he is a genius and his biggest gift is he is very patient and he knows what to get out of his horses and his horses are happy and they run well for him,” he said.
