Richie Hogan announces autobiography “Whatever it Takes”

Richie Hogan, one of hurling’s all-time greats, has announced the release of his autobiography, “Whatever it Takes.”

Co-written with journalist Fintan O’Toole and published by Gill Books, the book offers an honest and detailed account of Hogan’s remarkable 17-year career with the Kilkenny senior hurling team.

In “Whatever it Takes,” Hogan shares the story of his dazzling career, from his obsession with maintaining high standards in the Kilkenny team to the standout moments on the pitch. He also delves into the challenges he encountered along the way that threatened to derail everything.

Hogan expressed his excitement about the project, stating, “I’m delighted to share that I have written my autobiography ‘Whatever it Takes’ with Gill Books and Fintan O’Toole. It is an honest account of my 17-year career with Kilkenny.”

The autobiography is set for release in October 2024 and is currently available for pre-order.
