Callan’s John Locke Park was treated to a cracking Leinster schools camogie final at the weekend, and now the venue gets to see it all over again.

Kilkenny’s Presentation Secondary School and cross-town rivals Loreto Kilkenny get to run back their Leinster Schools Camogie A final this Thursday at 12.30pm.

The first outing finished 1-07 apiece.

Loreto had gone into the break three points to the good but Presentation pulled themselves back into contention in the second half, restricting Loreto to a single score and ultimately forcing the drawn game.

While we’ve seen plenty of club and county fixtures turn into winners-on-the-day events over the past two years, it’s nice to see a game get a chance to replay after a tough contest.

Whether the sides can still be separated remains to be seen but we’ll find out at lunchtime on Thursday.
