Carlow Senior Footballer Eoghan Ruth says the key to Saturday’s Championship clash against Dublin is to keep things tight in the early stages.
Speaking to KCLR, Eoghan says it’s important to make it a contest.
“The best thing that we could get out of the game is that we stay competitive and keep the score low.
“We don’t want the game to be over after 20 minutes which has happened a lot of teams against Dublin in the past.
“Realistically, we would like to keep it tight, like to keep it low scoring and take good morale into the qualifiers,” he said.
The rangy wing forward calls it as he sees it and it’s refreshing to see an honest interview which isn’t full of the same old jargon.
