We have four live games this weekend on KCLR

Up first it is Carlows O’Byrne Cup Shield Clash with Wicklow tomorrow at half-one

Speaking to KCLR ahead the game Carlow Senior Football manager Niall Carew stated that star player Jordon Morrissey is out with an injury

That game is brought to you with thanks to Dan Morrissey & Co.

Then we continute with the football tomorrow as we have the Stryve under 20 finals. Up first Ballon take on Tinryland in the B final from 5pm

After that, we bring you the A final, Eire Óg, and Palatine at 6.45 pm., and the game must finish on the night. With thanks to Ray Whelan LTD

On Sunday then Kilkenny come to Netwatch Cullen Park to face Carlow in the Walsh Cup for the first time since 2019.

Before that, It was the 20th of June 1993 when Kilkenny’s Senior Hurlers last came to Netwatch Cullen Park for a clash with Carlow, if you can believe that.

We are there this Sunday, the game throws in at half-one with thanks to Laharts.

The Dublin hurlers got their new season off to a winning start last night.

They beat Westmeath in the first round of the Walsh Cup by 2-31 to 1-12 at Parnell Park.

In Portlaoise, Laois overcame Offaly by 2-18 to 18 points.

New York are through to the Connacht Hurling League final after a 1-27 to 1-16 win over a Galway Development side at the Connacht GAA Airdome.

The Roscommon senior footballers begin their Connacht FBD League campaign tonight.

Davy Burke’s team go up against Sligo in a quarter-final clash at the Connacht GAA Airdome. Throw-in is at 7pm.

Soccer

Crystal Palace and Everton played out a goalless draw in the third round of the FA Cup last night at Selhurst Park.

The tie now goes to a replay at Goodison Park the week after next.

Everton finished last night’s match with ten players after the dismissal of Dominic Calvert Lewin.

Ireland international Seamus Coleman played all 90 minutes for the visitors.

There are two all Premier League ties in tonight’s FA Cup third round action.

Brentford host Wolves from a quarter past seven, while Tottenham take on Burnley from 8.

At half-seven, Fulham have a home advantage for their meeting with Rotherham.

In Carlow there is one game in the Nationalist Premier Division as Vale Wanderers take on Kilree Celtic

While in Kilkenny premier division Evergreen welcomes Kilree Celtic

DARTS

Luke Littler is coming to Dublin.

The 16 year old, who finished runner up in the World Championship Final, will play in the Premier League at the 3Arena in March.
