Ireland head coach Greg McWilliams says Dannah O’Brien is ready for the next level.
The Tullow native will make her first Women’s Six Nations start in Ireland’s clash with France at Musgrave Park on Saturday when she lines out at out-half. McWilliams said although the 19-year-old is relatively inexperienced he believes she’s the right person to start at 10 and particularly praised her kicking game.

Speaking of Spurs, Tottenham forward Richarlison has hit out at claims he was a “mutiny leader” against former boss Antonio Conte.
The Italian left last week by mutual consent after calling his players “selfish” following a 3-all Premier League draw with bottom side Southampton. Brazil international Richarlison was accused by a broadcaster of issuing an ultimatum to Spurs over Conte’s future. He says he’s always “had a lot of respect” for him and called the reports “lies”.
