France lock Paul Willemse has been handed a four-week ban following his sending-off against Ireland.
He was shown yellow cards for each of his high challenges, first on Andrew Porter and then on Caelan Doris.
The second yellow was upgraded to red via the TMO bunker.
An independent disciplinary panel found that both challenges warranted red cards.
Willemse’s four-game suspension means he’ll miss France’s next two Six Nations games – against Scotland and Italy.
