Wexford held off a spirited comeback from Kilkenny to beat the reigning provincial and All Ireland champions 1-18 to 2-13. While Offaly were 1-19 to 2-12 winners over Dublin in Tullamore.

Kilkenny has another shot at Leinster success this Friday night in the minor grade when Niall Bergin’s side takes on Galway in O’Moore Park Laois

Billy O’Sullivan starts in goal with Conor Brophy, Captain Evan Murphy, and David Barcoe immediately in front of him in the full backline.

Rory Garrett, Mikey Stynes, and Micheal Ahern make up the half-backline while Daragh Vereker and Ed Laughoff partner each other in the middle of the park.

Sean Bergin joins Gregy Kelly and James O’Neill in the half forwards while Conor Doyle, Ed McDermott, and Brian Moore fill out the full forwards.

That game is live on KCLR from 7.30 Friday night thanks to Kilkenny Sand and Gravel.

The GAA says a comprehensive review of GAA-GO will take place at the end of this season.

Along with other sporting bodies and broadcasters, the GAA has been invited to appear before the Oireachtas Committee on Tourism, Sport, and Media.

Meanwhile, the GAA has hit back at claims from Virgin Media that broadcast rights were not put out to tender.

The association says Virgin Media was given multiple opportunities to bid for inter-county packages, but no bids were forthcoming.

Speaking to KCLR Live yesterday, 8-time All-Ireland winner Aidan Taggy Fogarty had some strong opinions on it.
