Both sides are in search of their first win in the competition, Carlow kicked off with a draw against Kildare, while Kilkenny is seeking redemption after a 3-2 defeat to Wexford. Kick-off is set for 8 pm.

The last time these two sides met in the Oscar Traynor was when Carlow & District League became All Ireland Champions for the first time in 2018 after a 2-1 win over Kilkenny & District League.
