Vera Pauw says she’s considering taking legal action against someone she believes is trying to destroy her career.
A report by The Athletic accused the Republic of Ireland manager of abusive behaviour during her time at Houston Dash.
Pauw has described the allegations as ‘lies’ – and may explore legal avenues after the World Cup.
Ireland play their final friendly on home soil before the World Cup tonight, with France visiting Tallaght Stadium. Kick-off is at 8.

Manchester United have completed the signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea. The England midfielder joined on a five-year contract, with the option of a further year, for a fee believed to be worth an initial 55-million-pounds.
Mount is set to inherit the iconic number 7 shirt worn by the like sof George Best, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo.
United have opened talks with Inter Milan over a proposed move for their £50million-rated goalkeeper Andre Onana.
Kylian Mbappé has been given a fortnight to sort out his future by Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
The France captain could leave for free next summer, as he has so far refused a contract extension. Mbappé has been linked with Real Madrid, but Al-Khelaifi says they will not allow him to leave for free.
