New Zealand’s Ryan Fox is the man to catch on day two of the Irish Open at Mount Juliet. He lies on 8 under par.
Seamus Power and Niall Kearney head the Irish challenge on 4 under par in Kilkenny. Speaking after yesterday’s proceedings Seamus Power was in very good spirits going into day 2;
“Playing with Shane (Lowry) is huge, it was fantastic. There was support all around. You could feel they were also trying to will the ball into the hole. It was a great experience and a lot of fun.”
“It was difficult, the rough was thick. Anytime you are off the fairway, it was going to get difficult pretty quick. The green was perfect and soft, so you can get some shots close. If you were hitting some good drives you had opportunities, but if you were struggling it will be tough. It played pretty nice though.”
