GAA president John Horan says seats could be installed on Hill 16 with the Association hoping to have up to 42,000 fans attend Championship games later this year.
Horan says the GAA would be able to seat 21,000 spectators under the current guidelines but that number could be doubled if the Government reduced social-distancing from two metres to one metre.
Inter-county action won’t resume until mid October under the GAA’s roadmap to return.
