The Kilkenny club hurling championships are coming to a close and we’ll have five games live on air this weekend.
Saturday sees three games down for decision at UPMC Nowlan Park, beginning at 12pm with the JJ Kavanagh & Sons junior hurling semi-final championship clash between Dicksboro and Windgap.
From 1.45pm it’s the turn of Blackand and Whites and Piltown in the other junior semi-final before Tullaroan and defending county champions take to the pitch from 3.30pm for the outstanding semi-fina in the St. Canice’s Credit Uniont senior hurlign championship. The winners there go to play James Stephens on Sunday next.
On Sunday we’ve got a double helping of the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai intermediate hurling championship with Danesfort set to meet Rower Inistioge at 2pm while Thomastown and Carrickshock go head-to-head at 3.45pm.

Entry this weekend to UPMC Nowlan Park will be via Ardán de Grás only with the old stand side entrance closed. Tickets are €15 for each day and can now be bought in advance at your local SuperValu or Centra. Student and OAP discount tickets can only be bought online for €10 while U16s go free as always.
