SETU Carlow’s hurlers advanced to the semi-final of the Division 2 Higher Education Fresher Hurling League on Wednesday night.
The energetic and ruthless outfit proved far too strong for UCD ‘B’ on home turf as they sealed a 6-19 to 1-07 victory.
There are two sides from the college in action today.
First up at 3pm, the Freshers football team will be hoping to replicate the hurlers success by progressing to the last-four in Division 2 of the Higher Education Football League.
They travel to Clare to take on Mary Immaculate College.
The college’s camogie team face UL in the final of the CCAO Camogie Division 2 League.
Piltown will play host to the decider at 7.30pm this evening.
