Carlow Senior Football strength and conditioning coach Damien Sheehan, says the mental strength of the Team in Saturday’s victory over London was very impressive.
Speaking to KCLR afterwards, Damien says they responded well even when things were going wrong.
“It takes a few years for lads to bed into the system, and I think we have been 4 years with them now and they are all treating it like professionalism now.
“They know what to do and they know how to do it now which is great, and I think the conditions today just one or two things went wrong, but that’s the strength and mentality of the team now.
“It’s not just physical, I think it’s mental strength now as well, that they can see the knocks happen and they can get back from that knock, and just keep plodding away and come out with a win and that’s what it’s all about,” he said.
