St. Andrews Gaelic Football manager Hamish Beaton says the squad deserve a break after all their exertions.
St. Andrews lost out their first game in the Leinster Championship when losing by a point to St. Josephs of Louth and speaking to KCLR, Hamish says most of the squad have had a very busy year been involved with the Hurling as well….
“Of the top of my head, I would say there is at least 9 or 10 involved in both panels so they have had a really really busy year so they have given a great commitment to both teams I would say and we are still not finished yet”
“We have our Under-21 Team that’s involved in the Under-21 Final against Eire Og in a couple of weeks time and I think we still have a Semi-Final of a League to play but I think they deserve a break this week and next week, they put a lot of time and effort into it”
