Mullinalaghta St. Columbas Senior Football manager Mikey Graham says Eire Og’s confidence will be very high after last Sunday’s County Final replay against Rathvilly and doesn’t think that the 7 day turnaround will have any significant bearing.
Speaking exclusively to KCLR, Mikey says Eire Og will have no problem re-focusing after a few days celebrations.
“They would have celebrated for a couple of days afterwards, but they are on a high, their confidence will be high, they will have a bit of momentum now they probably were back and they were training Wednesday night and got their feet back on the ground.
“I would imagine that yes, while they would have celebrated, they would still have one eye on this game on Sunday and it might be a good way of re-tuning them and re-focusing them.
“They will come in to the game full of confidence and with a competitive game under their belts so I don’t think it will be a huge disadvantage to them,” he said.
