St. Kierans captain Adrian Mullen says their displays in the competition so far will be no where near good enough for Sunday’s Leinster Final against Kilkenny CBS.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Leinster Final, Adrian is making little of his own performance in the Semi-Final against St. Peters where he scored 0-14 – 7 from play -.

“It’s the lads around me that are making the scores for me even the frees so I wouldn’t really mind that.

“(The performance) was definitely better (against Peters), we knew we had to up our game so it wasn’t good enough against Borris so we upped it against Peters but it still won’t be good enough for Sunday, so we probably have to up it again.

“You would always be expecting a good challenge like, they already beat us in the League Final so we know we are up against it but sure we will have to be on our ‘A’ game to beat them so”

We have Full live commentary of St Kieran’s V Kilkenny CBS in the Leinster Senior ‘A’ Schools Hurling Final from Nowlan Park at 2.30pm on Sunday
