St. Kierans College Junior Hurling Manager Brian Dowling says that having a challenge game against the Kilkenny Minors has served them well ahead of tomorrow’s (Saturday) All-Ireland Colleges Junior A Final against Presentation Athenry.
Speaking to KCLR, Brian says they have trained as well as they can despite not having had a match over the past month.
He said “We didn’t have a Semi-Final to play this year, we got a bye straight to the final so just kind of keeping the lads busy”.
“Training over the last couple of weeks and we gave them a week off after the Leinster Final and we trained very hard for the last four weeks. We played Kilkenny Minors in a Challenge game two weeks so it was a very good game to get as well”.
