St. Lachtains Intermediate Hurler Philip Campion says that lads are looking forward to re-starting the club hurling again after such a lengthy lay-off.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of this weekends Intermediate clash against Tullaroan, Philip says all they can do is give it a good rattle.

“To come up against the old rivals is a tough one I suppose.

“All you can is turn up on the day and give it a good rattle like.

“It has been a big gap so I think lads are kind of looking forward to the hurling starting as such.

“But as I say, hopefully things will come right on the day,” he said.

The game is at 7.15pm Friday evening in Johnstown.
