St. Mullins Junior Hurling Manager Pat Fenlon says this Sunday’s County Final showdown with Bagenalstown Gaels is very important as a number of the squad have never won silverware previously.

Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s game, Pat says the success of the Seniors in reaching a Leinster Final doesn’t count for anything among the Junior squad.

He said “I don’t really know, we kind of have to win this, the Senior is unbelievable and we have to win this ourselves, the lads have no medals for this year yet”.

“I notice some of these lads have no medals forever so these lads have to do it for themselves, I suppose it’s pressure from themselves to win their own Junior Championship basically among first and foremost”.
