In a captivating afternoon during the opening round of the PDC World Championship, the darts world witnessed Steve Lennon from Carlow, Ireland, display remarkable resilience and skill.

Faced with a challenging situation, Lennon mounted an impressive comeback, winning an astounding nine out of 11 legs to overturn a 2-0 deficit and secure a well-deserved victory against Owen Bates.

While the journey continued, Lennon experienced an eventual exit from the World Championship after a compelling encounter against Jonny Clayton.

Addressing the mental toll of the intense competitions, Lennon revealed the exhaustion, especially following a narrow miss in retaining his card at the world’s. Undeterred, he expressed eagerness for a fresh start in the upcoming season, reflecting on the challenges and successes that lie ahead.
