The Stryve 2024 Under-20 Football Championships are set to begin on the weekend of October 18-20, with both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ grades preparing for intense group stage action as teams compete for semi-final spots.

Under-20 Football ‘A’ Championship

In the U20 Football ‘A’ Championship, the competition is divided into two groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals.

  • Group 1: Eire Og, Mount Leinster Rangers, and Rathvilly
  • Group 2: Michael Davitts, Palatine, and St. Patrick’s

With several strong teams in the mix, the battle for the semi-final places is sure to be fierce, as each team looks to make their mark early in the competition.

Under-20 Football ‘B’ Championship

The U20 Football ‘B’ Championship features three groups, with the top two teams from Group 1 and the winners of Groups 2 and 3 moving on to the semi-finals.

  • Group 1: Asca, Ballon, Fenagh, Naomh Eoin
  • Group 2: Bagenalstown Gaels, Clonmore, Tinryland
  • Group 3: Fighting Cocks/Kilbride, Grange, Kildavin Clonegal

The first round of matches will also take place on the weekend of October 18-20, with teams from across the county ready to put in their best efforts to secure a spot in the knockout stages.

Both championships promise to deliver competitive football as the next generation of Carlow footballers vie for county honours. Fans can expect exciting matchups and emerging talent throughout the group stages and into the knockout rounds.
